Dr. Robert Baldwin, Pastor Emeritus

 Rev. Robert L. Baldwin was initiated into Vedanta in 1957, a disciple of Swami Prabhavananda, founder of The Vedanta Society of Southern California. He is still a devoted member of that society.

Dr. Baldwin was ordained a minister of Universal Christ Church on the Fifth day of March 1978. This church was mother to USG and the sanctuary of Spiritual Sciences into which he was ordained Twenty Eighth day of August 1983. He was a member of the Board of Directors, Assistant Pastor and eventually Pastor of this church for a very short time. In 1983, He was awarded minister of the Year by Pastor Annalee Weatherly.

He was Ordained into U C God on the fifth day of August 1983 and was associate pastor there for several years and later became Pastor by the grace of God.  Dr. Baldwin retired on the Eighteenth day of June 1997, at which time the Board of Directors honored him with the title of Pastor Emeritus, that he act as the Titular Head of our organization.  

While enjoying his retirement he does spiritual counseling from time to time. If anyone is interested in personal help in their spiritual life Dr. Baldwin is always willing to talk with them.
