Universal Church of God is a Metaphysical Fellowship Church embracing all religions, all cultures, and all philosophies. As an autonomous New Spirituality Church, we teach a Theology built upon the foundation of Truth as revealed in the Spiritual teachings of the World's religions, while also celebrating and assimilating the contributions and insight of Science, the Arts and Philosophy. Our organization is three fold in nature. Universal Church of God, and Institute of Applied Religious Sciences, Inc. Hereafter known as the Church and the Institute each respectively. The Theological Seminary of Southern California operates under the Institute according to our Bylaws, and sometimes is referred to as the Seminary. The Church offers personal spiritual un-foldment through meditation, worship, healing prayer and service. The Institute offers enrichment through classes, workshops, seminars, and all scholastic endeavors. The Seminary offers Ordination through a prescribed course of study, followed by a Laying on of Hands Ritual Ceremony.

Universal Church of God and Institute of Applied Religious Sciences, Inc. is a non-profit Religious California Corporation, founded in 1983, by Dr. Edward T. Jones of Northridge, California. Dr. Jones made his transition in 1994. Dr. Jones had a vision of establishing a Church which would include a comprehensive educational program for sincere students seeking the spiritual path within the Metaphysical community. Today we carry forward his vision by offering classes taught by excellent teachers with experience and expertise in many fields. We are primarily a Healing and Educational Ministry at this time. If you live in the greater Los Angeles area, we invite you to join us. We would love to meet you. You will find us a warm, friendly and loving group of spiritual people.
